2024 was one of the best years of my life. I settled into my new apartment and really made it a home. I think I did too good of a job though, because I never want to leave it lol.

I’ve also grown more comfortable in DC, a city that’s really starting to feel like home. I love the energy here—the smart, driven people, the balance of urban life with easy access to nature, and the overall vibe of the city. Being just a three-hour train ride from NYC is an added bonus, too.

This year also brought me closer to someone who’s become a dear friend, Leyla Amar. She’s an incredible person, and I feel so lucky to have her in my life.

2024 wasn’t all smooth sailing. I fell in love and had my heart broken, but even that felt like a gift in its own way—a reminder that I’m taking risks. After all, the biggest risk is not taking any risk. Thanks for that line Zuck.

Anyways, here are some goals I’m setting for 2025:

1. Travel to London, England
This might seem ordinary to seasoned travellers, but visiting England has been a dream of mine since childhood. I’m captivated by everything English—the history, the culture, and the charm. I need to experience the grandeur of places like Harrods, cozy up in quaint little cafes, and explore the iconic landmarks. Also, The Crown is still one of my favourite TV shows of all time. I rewatch more often than I’d like to admit…

2. Stay at The Inn at Little Washington
This one’s a bit closer to home than England. The Inn at Little Washington has the most charming and picturesque vibes—perfect for a romantic getaway or simply unwinding in style with someone special.

3. Go Horseback Riding
Horseback riding has been on my bucket list for a while now, probably thanks to the countless hours I’ve spent binge-watching Yellowstone. I will probably be scared shitless to do it and when the time comes I will likely try to bail. It’s why I’ve procrastinated on this for years, but 2025 feels like the perfect time to finally (try) to make it happen.

4. Learn to Play One Song on the Piano
Honestly, I want to put my fingers to good use for something other than giving mind-blowing handjobs. (Jk… but not really hehe.) I recently bought a keyboard, and my goal is to learn at least one song by the end of the year. Keeping some goals on here very simple haha.

5. Become More Financially Literate and Responsible

While I’ve got a decent grasp of financial basics, I want to level up in 2025. My goals include making smarter investments, dabbling more in Bitcoin, and diving deeper into financial planning.

Ultimately, I want to work toward purchasing property, and this feels like an essential step in preparing for that milestone.
